Little, free songs of beautiful goodness,
as well as arrangements of songs for acapella community choir, some for free and some available for purchase.
This is is a ever-growing library. . Some songs are little songsbyme, some are arrangements of uncopyrighted songs, and some are arrangements of copyright songs. The copyrighted songs are available for purchase via the Arrangeme program at www.sheetmusicdirect.com. Through that program, artists and publishers receive royalities for their song, and the arranger receives 10%.
Songs where the copyright is all mine are free offerings at this time. You can use them, sing them, share them, delight in them, perform them, whatever. In the even you intend to record any, please get in touch then. In the event you love singing them, please get in touch just to tell me that becuase that’s lovely.
Crazy – Arrangement ($)
This one is epic and fun and good. For 3 part acapella choir (where the low part is mixed voices) + solo/ists.
This recording was a choir rehearsal of the Cygnet Song Circle and Little Boat Choir, where Rose was singing the solo as well as conducting, in order to send it to our soloist who was sick for this rehearsal. Definitely one to do with an actual bespoke soloist, or a different one each verse, but this gives you this idea!

What’s Up – Arrangement ($)
A challenging but achievable arrangement for acapella community choirs. This works for either SATB or SSAA. I tend to do it in either A (as shown here) or Ab or G, depending on whether the altos are happier to go higher or the basses lower.
Super fun to sing.

Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody -Civil Rights Song
A civil rights song of power and goodness and determination.
This is a 4 part arrangement, but I often do it as 3 parts and leave out the top part.
When singing songs from the African American Civil rights or spirituals worlds, make sure you know the stories and place the songs in context for your singers and audience. I also recommend checking out songs from this BLM Project and maybe purchase a song- https://blmcommissioning.com/

We Shall Be Known – Arrangement.
A song by the ever-glorious MaMuse. Although I do have an arrangment available on sheetmusicdirect, I’d encourage you to get directly in touch with Mamuse. They are grand humans and they are contactable. Perhaps you could directly pay them, and if all agree, I’m happy to share music with you. This video is MaMuse and Thrive Choir, and my arrangement is very closely based on it. A few changes for range and key to accommodate a mixed voice community choir.
