Warming and waking up your body is a really useful way to start some singing.
Your body is your instrument, and it loves to move and sing with you.
Dance!
My favourite way to warm up is to dance around like an enthusiastic gleeful person. Always a great place to start. There are a bzillion wonderful songs to dance to to warm up to, but here are three of my faves.
The 8 Shakes Warm Up
This is a great body warm up I do very often. I love many things about it. By the end of it, you are almost always laughing and puffing, and it has the added bonus of helping move some adrenaline through and de-nervousing ourselves a little.

Sing body, Sing!
This is another great body warm up. It’s a call and response exercise, where you move the part of the body called out as you listen and sing. For added magic, imagine that that part of the body is the one actually doing the singing!
